 Dr. Aakash Shingada specializes in managing patients with all types of kidney diseases with areas of interest including Preventive nephrology (preventing/delaying kidney disease onset and progression in patients with Diabetes, Hypertension and Obesity), Glomerular diseases, Peritoneal dialysis and Kidney Transplants – he has been a part of a team having performed > 750 kidney transplants with success rate > 92%.

He is experienced in desensitization protocols for performing transplants across ABO blood groups and HLA crossmatch positive patients. He is proficient in performing procedures including kidney biopsies, AV fistulas, and dialysis catheters.

He has managed more than 500 patients of COVID-19 with Kidney disorders including COVID in dialysis and transplant patients.
